How about instead of encouraging women to take yet another pill to 'fix them' we quit discouraging sexual behaviours and pleasure? If sex is depicted as something negative, it stands to reason people are going to gradually quit being able to become sexually arroused. If accepting and enjoying your own sexual arrousal brings to mind only bad things you're gonna need drug assistance to get turned on eventually.

Could skip the drug assistance altogether if you simply accepted you're a member of an animal species which is hardwired to reproduce itself through sex. That sex is fun, it feels good, and it's so awesome we even enjoy watching others doing it if we're not.

Before taking a drug (probably designed for something else as with male Viagra,) try using your own body in the way it was intended. Get some porn, take some me-time, and masturbate. If you're not comfortable doing that all by yourself, no drug is going to magically make you a stud or studette.

I think it's wonderful for women who may have lost their sex drive for whatever reason. Maybe they're tired, maybe they're stressed out. It seems to work well for men, so why shouldn't women be able to have their own little "magic" pill? If a person is willing to risk the side effects knowingly, then so be it.

Shouldn't be relying on drugs to do something we've been doing since in the womb. And if we're not going to change how mutually-consensual sexual behaviour is depicted in general, but make drug-assisted sexuality ubiquitos, we're only creating a culture where 'there's a pill for that' is how we're defined when we shouldn't be that reliant on pharmacology to do something simple and straight-foward.

The way we denounce sexuality could well be a big part of this so-called 'loss of sex drive.' If we celebrated sexuality and pleasure more, we might need drug assistance less. And surely that's better given the usual side-effects to drugs advertized on tv, some of which cause cancers, liver failure, and death when the reasonf rot aking them is something trivial like toe fungus. :)

I think there are a lot of reasons why a person might lose interest in sex and have loss of libido, ranging anywhere from medications taken for other illnesses to stress and, if as an adult, knowing the possible risks, a person decides it is worth it to take a pill for his or her own reasons, I don't have a problem with it. If a person chooses to use more natural methods, that's fine too.

Why would a women need a Viagra like drug?

All they need to do is be there, be naked, and be somewhat willing.

That isn't how Viagra works. It does nothing for sex drive, it helps the process when you get there.

I don't know anything about this drug but if it helps a girl out so be it. Some just aren't that into sex. As long as obamacare doesn't cover it I don't care.

On the Today show this morning, they were saying that it helps with a woman's libido.
