The Little Mermaid is now portrayed by an African-American actress and with the movie the best! Diversity is wonderful and people might even prefer an African American actress in this role.

In the end she dies and becomes foam upon the sea. Naturally Disney would not kill off a princess.nobody has touched the novel. It’s still there

A movie was made about the creation of the short story, The Little Mermaid. Danny Kaye played Hans Christian Anderson who was very disappointed in love. No black people in the movie either.
