FISA Judge Finally Reacts; Too Little, Too Late; Destroy FISA Courts to Protect Citizen Privacy

Comey said that the reason he signed the FISA was that he believed in “probable cause” that “Page was an agent for a foreign power.”
This is it in a nutshell. If you were a cop in the middle of an investigation and could smell the crook from a mile away, you too would do your best to continue surveillance.
...
No witch hunt. No wish to get rid of Trump because he was a Republican. The investigation by the FBI and then the Mueller team was for the simple purpose of getting the evidence and hopefully preventing it from happening again.
OL, the FBI had already been notified by the CIA that Page was an information source for them.

There was ZERO basis for continuing the spying on Page.
I think the cops might have a little more information to base that on than you. Just sayin.

That's retarded.

This judge is just doing some CYA, but it is too little; all FISA warrants should be reviewed, and it should have been done years ago when Nunez published his memo that proved 100% accurate about how FISA warrants were being abused.

There is no such thing as reforming current FISA law to protect Americans right to privacy when such fascists are running the whole kit and kaboodle.

FISA Orders Review of Warrant Applications by Ex-FBI Lawyer Clinesmith

Horowitz found that the FBI completely ignored the FISA condition that it be informed of any changes to the documents used to obtain approval to the spy on Page.

According to the Horowitz IG report, Comey as FBI director said that he did not always fully review FISA applications before certifying them, reading only the description at times.

The former FBI director had reservations about signing the Carter Page FISA request based on a source the federal government knew was connected to the opposite political side and whose information “had not yet been corroborated.”

The Russian interference in our election was far more than foreign officials voicing their opinion on which candidate they liked. It was a concerted, hidden effort to change the minds of American voters. And the hacks and giving them to wikileaks were just plain criminal. If Americans were working with our historic adversary Russia to accomplish this, don't you think we ought to know who?
That is all that was behind it. Comey said at some point that they were worried those sneaky Russians were "playing" Trump's campaign without them even being aware. Ol' Putin, being KGB, is a master at that.

Could not disagree more.
Forget this investigation, forget Trump, Mueller all of it... and look at the BIGGER picture.
In this country, indeed in any free society with individual rights - it is IMPERATIVE that law enforcement investigates the crime - not the individual. I cannot believe how many people here and elsewhere cannot seem to grasp the difference. The difference is a society that is free, the other is not.
But how do you investigate a crime committed by a person without investigating the person's dealings? I'm struggling with that difference.

You don't, that is why they needed a FISA warrant on Page, and like Tramp he is obstructing congress every which way he can and Barr is his right hand man.

But how do you investigate a crime committed by a person without investigating the person's dealings? I'm struggling with that difference.

Easy.
Example - Some one is accused of shop lifting, the store has the person on video, and was identified by someone who knows them.

INVESTIGATING THE CRIME - not the individual. - The Police obtain the video, locate the accused, make sure they have no solid alibi, question them, believe it is them and while in their house locate clothing exactly like the video. Confiscate the clothing and place that as evidence. They arrest the individual, charge them with shoplifting. STOP.
I
NVESTIGATE THE INDIVIDUAL - not the crime. All of the above is done. But they do not stop. They want to see maybe they have done something else, so they start investigating the person. Who they know, question people close to them and ask if they know any wrong doings. Investigate where they work, and what they do there. Begin looking into their acquaintances seeing what they can find. And if they do - they are also arrested for that.

SEE THE DIFFERENCE? - The latter is what they did to Trump. They did not investigate just any info with Russia, they questioned 100's of people, went through all of his business dealings, questioned those people etc. - That should NOT be legal under ANY circumstances.

But how do you investigate a crime committed by a person without investigating the person's dealings? I'm struggling with that difference.
You START with a crime that was committed.

What was Carter Pages crime?

None, he was just working for an opponent to a Democrat, that was his 'crime'.

Carter Page did not obstruct Congress, genius.

Except, Comey lied about his belief. When he signed FISA, the FBI already knew Page was working with CIA, but they omitted it from FISA court.

While I am at it, the same judge Rosemary Collyer that signed first FISA warrant is the judge who was instrumental in facilitating extensive "over collection" from NSA "702 upstream". The question is, why this judge is still sitting on the bench?

When Schiff showed records of phone calls of some congressman, president and people around him, he couldn't get all that from AT&T, he must have gotten that from somewhere else. We know that everyone's electronic communications are stored for 72 hours (left was using those databases when they were unmasking people around Trump). Everyone who is accessing those databases must log in, and that would be noticeable to everyone with oversight, and top oversight guy is NSA's IG, Rob Storch.

Anyone heard of this guy before? Isn't that the same guy who received "whistleblower" complaint that started impeachment inquiry? The same guy who was only NSA IG who was not appointed by Director of NSA, but by presidential appointment, and never confirmed by the Senate. Something is fishy there.

I believe Comey as far as I can throw him.

Fisa Court Committed a Fraud upon America.

“Imprisonment and/or disbarment for the lot of them is required. After that, abolish the FISA court itself. It is an unelected fourth branch of government with no real accountability. We have sacrificed our liberty for its bogus promise of security, putting our democracy at risk. Absolute power corrupts absolutely, and we see that happening before our very eyes.”
Presiding judge Rosemary Collyer, having returned from her vacation on Mars and just in time for her retirement, has demanded of the FBI revised procedures to ensure that the multiple frauds committed upon the court, including inclusion of fraudulent material, omission of exculpatory information, and the deliberate alteration of documents to mislead the court. It was farcical to hear her, in the face of multiple felonies in a Deep State plot bordering on sedition, suggest that revised procedures for the handling and submitting of FISA applications is the answer to our chief law enforcement agency's attempt to overthrow a sitting president of the United States.

Did she just wake up? Where has she been?

Excuse me... Crocked cops that decided to hide the information from the court in order to continue their agenda. Then they go even further and changed the information that would clear Page to complete opposite to continue spying on him and everyone he's in contact with.

NSA and FISA smoked their dirty asses out before Trump was even elected.............That was confirmed via the court before this was ever an issue............

Probably why Admiral Rogers is working with the DOJ right now.......oops.....

Put a link up for that assumption where Rogers , who is retired, is working with the DOJ right now??
There was a thread on it...........and it showed it...........and my other information proves the old stuff with Admiral Rogers.....

GOOGLE ROGERS........working with the DOJ.......or not.....I don't care.

There was somewhere article that Rogers tipped off Trump that his campaign has been wiretapped, and that caused Trump moving his campaign from Trump tower to his Golf club in New Jersey.

Right after Washington Post reported that Clapper and Carter had recommended the removal of Rogers from his NSA post. But he wasn't removed, he retired in January before Trump was sworn in.

So why should they believe Rogers over Brennan and Clapper?

Clapper lied to the country under oath. He should be in prison not someone we look to for guidance on anything.

This entire thing should have never been created to start with.
