I am not defending Hillary Clinton...but I am sick of hearing about her emails..If she was in the wrong than arrest her, stop using it for political purposes.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush owns the server that runs [email protected], the personal email he used as governor to conduct official, political and personal business, NBC News has learned.

Asked Wednesday morning who controls the server that operates that Jeb Bush email address, Bush spokeswoman Kristy Campbell responded in an email: "He owns it."

The server was housed in a state-owned office building during the years that Bush served as Florida's governor, from 1999 until early 2007. A Bush source familiar with the situation said there were "digital security" measures in place to protect Bush's emails on this server, but declined to elaborate on how the server and its data were physically and digitally kept from harm. The aide also declined to elaborate on whether the server was "homebrew," as an email server housed in Hillary Clinton's Chappaqua home was described by The Associated Press in a Wednesday report. "Homebrew" refers to a private email service rather than a commercial or government email account.

So was it when Jeb was president or Secretary of State? I forget. He should have been careful with the thousands of Top Secret documents he handled, huh? LOL

Oh ok so only republicans can have a private server when in a high office such as Governor..?;)

Maybe he used his Private Server to get his brother Baby Bush elected by stealing Florida. :ack-1:

By all means let us know when a governor is dealing with classified material and dealing with international issues that affect the country as a whole.

I was unaware that the governor or the officials of any state fell under the F.B.I.'s purvey on espionage.

Are you going to be sick of it when it is learned that she changed the labels on TS documents and handled TS documents like she would a note to Chelsea. What if the Chinese were hacking her emails. Good chance of it, Russia, too,.

Let's face it, she was just downright incompetent. The investigation continues. That is why it is still in the news.

Ok so a Governor does not have any Top Secret Information and just sits behind the desk doing nothing all day.

They all have vital information.
To name a few

Oath of office....He let Legal information and agreements , personal medical histories out into cyber space.

ELIÁN GONZÁLEZ
On Thanksgiving Day 1999, five-year-old Elián González was rescued off the coast of Florida after fleeing Cuba in a small boat with his mother and other refugees. Elián's mother had drowned during the trip, setting off a months-long international custody battle between the child's relatives in Miami and his father in Cuba. In emails to constituents throughout the saga, Bush supported allowing state courts to adjudicate the issue; he opposed the Clinton administration's decision not to grant Elián asylum and denounced the federal raid in April 2000 that removed Elián from the custody of his Miami relatives. Yet internal deliberations about this high-profile matter between Bush and his staff are scarce in the email archive.

TERRI SCHIAVO

Bush's email archive contains thousands of Schiavo-related messages from people around the country, but this collection reveals little about Bush's decision making as a key player in one of the culture wars' biggest battles. There are a few emails of note, however. When Bush officially entered the legal battle in the fall of 2003, his administration hired attorney Ken Connor as the outside counsel on the case. The archive shows nothing about the decision to hire Connor, but Bush's aides did circulate "Ken Connor talking points" and his biography for Bush to use in media interviews. There are also emails from Bush's legal team throughout the years-long saga providing updates on the case.

Why are so many key episodes missing from Jeb Bush's emails?

Elian Gonzales and Schiavo were state issues, nothing that would damage the security of the nation.

An attorney could go to jail for giving out legal and personal information..lose his license.
What difference does it make if it was national or one American?..the fact is he used his own server while in High office.

Where are the indictments?

There aren't any that I know of, but there is not a word about Jeb having a private server..
Actually the Dems. are nuts for not bringing it up and talk about it.
Hillary doesn't have any indictments does she?

Is he required to maintain copies of his official e-mails like Hillary Clinton? If not, you have nothing!

The fact is that it is not considered a matter of national security for the officer of any state to have his/her own server.

David Petraeus was forced to resign as CIA director and sentenced to serve two years on probation and to pay an $100,000 fine for what he did with classifed information what should happen to Hillary for having it on a private e-mail server?

When did he "give out legal and personal information"?

You are grasping at straws here.

From an IT Security perspective, what puts the US more vulnerable.... a governor using a private server or a Secretary of State using a private server?
