This is not my position for or against gun bans, but it is an irrefutable fact that the ban on automatic weapons, or if you want to be precise, the severe limitations on buying and possessing automatic weapons is arguably the main reason we almost never (or never) see mass shootings done with automatic weapons, aka machine guns.

How many such shootings with automatic weapons can you name since those type guns were severely restricted?

Fully automatic weapons are really expensive even if you are licensed to buy them.

Which simply adds to the difficulty of legally obtaining them, which might explain why killers don't use them,

although it's a good guess many of them would like to.

Maybe they would, until they fired them the first time and realised how inaccurate they are.

Should we deregulate them down to the level of the AR 15 and find out?

Sure why not the 1994 ban did fuck all to stop anything.

I'm just pointing out an irrefutable fact, borne out by indisputable history.

This reminds me of a debate I had with a black friend who supported Kaepernick.

I said Kaepernick is fine to articulate his views, but not to put a team logo on his views, which he did.

He insisted Kaepernick was right. I asked what he would do if Kaepernick was kneeling to protest the discrimination called Affirmative Action. He went silent....

Right now, the Left and the Media love these pre-programmed all Jewish kids because they support gun control.

If these kids supported legalizing weed after another drug deal drive by, the media and the left would ignore them....

Whether you ban guns entirely or limit certain types of guns, violence in schools is still going to be an issue. Deranged Students throughout the US are motivated, at the core, to kill or maim fellow students. This is not a defense of guns but a plea to address the core issue to mitigate violence against students and teachers. School behavior and culture needs to change. Bullying, physical and verbal, is violence. Everyone needs to get some skin in the game to make changes; changes that are going to not be popular on all parts of the spectrum.

No it is not MOST crime is doe by handguns not rifles you dumb ass. Criminals want to be able to HIDE the weapon.
