1) our unique democracy isn’t a democracy. It’s a republic

2) no one said that firing wouldn’t have political consequences. That’s never been a question. The issue is the claim that it’s illegal to fire anyone in the executive branch. He can and if he does will with no legal consequences uenxes

3) if anyone is fired it will be for corruption and not to protect the president. The president isn’t concerned about this at all as is obvious by the fact that he isn’t hiding and cowering from it.

You can’t ignore the corruption forever. People will be going to jail and it won’t be the president
