Funny how no slave ever asks where the money comes from we give welfare out to too many people and it is bankrupting US. Stop paying people not to work, they will either get a job, which will provide tax revenues, thus lowering the debt, or steal from US and then when we blow them away, we reduce the number of those who dont contribute to the taxes of the US, thus helping reduce the debt..win win everytime.

We don't give money to corporations. We just take less taxation from them. The most valuable asset we have in this country is our military. They not only insure our freedom, but defense of the people in this country is a requirement written in the US Constitution. I see nowhere in the Constitution where it says government has the obligation to pay people when they're not working because the economy is not doing well.

There are two reasons why the House won't go along with McConnell's "skinny relief".

A. It is too small to have much effect and once that passes there will be NOTHING else.

B. It includes an "indemnity clause" that protects businesses who force workers to work in unsafe (covid infected) work places
