We have a general welfare clause not a general warfare clause. Too lazy, intellectually?Funny how no slave ever asks where the money comes from we give welfare out to too many people and it is bankrupting US. Stop paying people not to work, they will either get a job, which will provide tax revenues, thus lowering the debt, or steal from US and then when we blow them away, we reduce the number of those who dont contribute to the taxes of the US, thus helping reduce the debt..win win everytime.Where is the money coming from now? We are 27 trillion in debt and no one addresses that. If you are going to go, go big.
Funny how no one ever asks where the money we give the corporations and the war machinery is going to come from.
The War on Poverty has cost $22 trillion -- three times more than what the government has spent on all wars in American history. Federal and state governments spend $1 trillion in taxpayer dollars on America's 80 means-tested welfare programs annually.
