Former LAPD officer Brian Bentley says although he doesn’t condone the actions of Chris Dorner, he certainly understands Dorner’s rage.

Bentley, who is now an author, says he had been expecting a black officer to snap for quite some time.

“It took longer than I thought it would for something like this to happen” said Bentley.

Bentley says that when he was on the force, there were actually pictures posted of officers who had been terminated, who were thought of as being a threat.

When the Department terminated you, they intentionally tried to ruin your life,” Bentley explains. “That’s how they discredited you. Dorner isn’t the first ex-police officer to have a manifesto or some sort of hit list.”

Bentley was an LAPD officer for 10 years, and was one of the officers charged with guarding O.J. Simpson’s house during the football star’s murder trial.

Bentley says that when he left the LAPD, he had a manifesto of his own, one which included a list of people who had wronged him while on the force. Unlike Dorner though, the names in Bentley’s manifesto weren’t intended as a kill list.

We wouldn't need so many cops if we didn't have so many idiots with guns.

The point is, the LAPD is notoriously corrupt, and the cosmetic act of retiring Darryl Gates didn't address all the problems.

None of this excuses Dorner, though.

Number of privately owned guns in Japan- 70,000. Tightly regulated.

Number of privately owned guns in USA- 270,000,000

Number of gun murders in Japan- 11.

Number of gun murders in USA- 11,000.

Yes, you are crazy.

It took Dorner more than three years to "snap."

Please, explain that.

Something clearly stinks in the LAPD.

Dornor was a merely symptom of that corruption.

I hope Brian Bentley has left the area...otherwise, he might "accidentally" get killed "resisting arrest". The police are the most dangerous street gang in the country.

The left is sorry because Dorner didn't kill more people. He only killed four and two don't count because they were law enforcement.

Here is my problem.

Even if Dorner's story is true, and accurate, he lost any claim on my sympathy by killing people.

If you want to start a discussion about LAPD and how they abuse their power feel free. I will be right there to provide evidence. I will not facilitate turning Dorner into a folk hero by linking him to the discussion because he is part of the problem.

End of discussion.

Wow, did you just step in a big pile of gun control BULLSHIT.

Let's break down your numbers.

Japan has 1 murder for every 6,363 privately owned firearms.

The USA has 1 murder for every 24,545 privately owned firearms.

OOPS!

Dornor was mentally ill.

The LAPD is terrific.

They have to put up with the worst kind of gun owner, illegal ones not afraid to die.

Jesus Christ, folks, get your facts straight.
