The point is there's a whole lot of bitching and very little problem solving going on.

If they followed normal voting procedures it would take about 700 hours to clear the list.

If they did nothing but that each day for 8 hours they might have been able to get through the list, although the system allows up to 2 days of debate on each one if even a single Senator ask for it
