Students are waiting for the school buses with no sidewalks or street lights and people who do not own a car have to walk in the streets with the cars. We still have a lot of areas in Southwest Florida with no sidewalk or street light.

Oh the horror. You mean cars are driving without their headlights on in the dark?

When I was a kid, there were no street lights. We took flashlights then stood in the cold in the dark, in the snow looking at the stars overhead waiting for the bus.
