You are a lo-lo.
For starters, they are not teams of foreign doctors. A doctor not licensed in the US cannot practice medicine here.
Second, there are poor rural areas in the U.S. I realize that may be a surprise to you but that's that lo-lo thing going on.
Third, people in poor rural areas frequently have worse health than people living in cities, although poor peple in cities have plenty of issues.
Fourth, government regulation probably adds to the problems. Alabama was losing OB/GYNs because the tort system there made malpractice insurance unaffordable.
Fifth, Obamacare will make all that worse, not better.

like Rabbi said....you cant practice medicine here without an American license...we have the same thing out here....with American Doctors from around the area.....they line up early too...

Some of those doctors are likely foreign nationals who graduated from a US med school and acquired their license to practice medicine. Any foreign national who successfully graduates from a US med school will be given a green card.

Since you've already been shown how doctors here have to be licensed here I'll pass on rehashing that part.

You know what it shows me? It shows that we have such a successful medical industry here that doctors can actually take the time to be charitable and help those that normally would go without. These doctors volunteer their time, those horrible Big Pharma people you hate so much donate medication and supplies and yes even the hated insurance companies pitch in with the rest of the horrible greedy rich business people to donate for travel expenses and setting up equipment. Or at least they used to.

It's called charity, the first thing to go in socialized anything leaving those with limited access even less or more likely no access at all once the government steps in.

i live in an area with LOTS of illegals....every now and then they have clinics here and in LA for them and the area homeless....all the Doctors there are ones from the area giving their time.....these things get a lot of publicity.....the only Doctors there are ones licensed to practice here.....not one time have they said it was International thing.....if the Doctor there is a Foreign born person...he now lives here and practices here....i really doubt some Doctor from Norway is going to come here for a weekend Clinic.....
