Throughout history, dissension between people has always existed and will always exist. That is life. We all have had different lives, different cultures, different opinions and different objective. Nonetheless, when we live with others (not alone), we need to find ways to "get along" and work together (to a certain extent) so that we can go forward in life. If we always fight with each other, there is no advancement for either of us of if there is advancement, it is at the cost of the other.

Do you agree with that simple statement?

There are some things that I call "BASICS" that are needed/required with everything and everyone in order to be able to find some common ground, get along with each other and go forward (instead of going back).

Those basics are called morals, ethics, principles and humanity. If you have all 4 of them, you are a fine person that will always try to do what is right, but even if you only have one, it does prevent you from doing much damage.

Lying, insulting, debasing, hating, fighting, not willing to compromise, and closing ones eyes and ears to what the other has to say is not going to ever solve anything.

Do you agree?

As such, do you think that the intelligent thing to do is talk civilly with each other and be open to communication?

I do believe that someone that does all the negatives above needs to be put aside and not paid attention to, no matter what he/she is saying. If you can't have morals, ethics, principles or humanity, what good can come out of such a relationship. As long as we are to live together in one nation, we all need to get something out of it (as well as give something up).

Do you agree?

I do know it is difficult but we all need to keep in mind that humanity is by nature flawed and that no one is perfect. That means that we will all make mistakes and errors in judgement that will cause problems and pain. Nonetheless, isn't that what we all agree to when we get married to someone? For good or bad, knowing for sure that we will get both............For Sure!

Do you agree with me on the "general basics of this"?

I agree we all wish that were true, but when the conspiracy theory crowd has developed their own personal version of reality, all that goes out the window. If all the batshit crazy theories were only embraced by the fringe what you say would be ideal. When an entire party starts talking about eating cats, the logic of the past is no longer effective.

I agree.

How do you work with someone who doesn’t accept reality? Being civil is great and we all should be more civil I believe. I’m not going to count it but I would love to know how many times Kamala has been called a “whore”. I bet it’s in the thousands.

Mental wellness among all concerned is the first thing to achieve the goals you state.
Open and free society is the next, so information is not controlled by those who wish to control the people for their own purposes.

Unfortunately, that is part of human nature. It will never stop. That is why people need to get together and agree on some restrictions/controls that limit the amount. Nonetheless. compromise is what is required and if it is to be "my way or the highway", it cannot happen.

What you are suggesting is a change in human nature. This will only happen supernaturally through God's Holy Spirit indwelling. Sadly, this won't happen until mankind has nearly destroyed itself and Christ returns to put things right.

There are values that I will never compromise.

I agree that you drink too much blue kool aid.

The system would depend on all "in on it". We cannot have the endless lying we see on TV with media and entertainers. Political leanings are destroying us.

You said it, means you understand it but refuse to see it, right?

So you think that morals, ethics, principles and humanity are not important.

Says a lot about YOU!
LOL. So, you think Democrats have morals, ethics, principles, and humanity? The jokes on you.

Really? you mean that it is human nature to be immoral, unethical, unprincipled and inhumane?

I don't agree with you. I know many people that have at least one if not all of those basic qualities. I, for one, have all of those as obtaining those has always been my objective of my life, and I live and die by them. I care more about those I love than I care about myself.

Trump has brought out the WORST of human nature

Exactly, like Trump and Putin colluded to steal 2016. Steele Dossier. Piss whores in Moscow.

Conspiracy Theory fucks are a basket of deplorables

A moral and ethical person does not fight for the right of a man to self declare as a woman.

A moral and ethical person does not believe that a male/male couple is “similarly situated” enough to a male/female couple to be granted the right to Marry, but a fetus is not “similarly situated” enough to a newborn to be granted the same rights.
