The Mayor of Cologne has spoken out about the attacks, but her carefully chosen words are unlikely to delight many. Rather than addressing the root causes of the violence — unlimited mass migration and a totally failed system of integration — the newly elected pro-migrant mayor instead blamed the victims of the sexual abuse for having failed to defend themselves against the immigrant attackers.

Speaking on live television this afternoon mayor Henriette Reker, who was near-fatally stabbed in the run up to October elections by an anti mass migration campaigner, said in future women would have to be better prepared in her city to deal with migrants. She remarked: “The women and young girls have to be more protected in the future so these things don’t happen again.

“This means, they should go out and have fun, but they need to be better prepared, especially with the Cologne carnival coming up. For this, we will publish online guidelines that these young women can read through to prepare themselves”.

and in Syria people are starving. I understand the desperation but Europe can't take them all in and provide for them of the economies could collapse. Vetting is a must but there has to be housing and jobs available for them. what of Europeans trying to find jobs and housing that see refugees moving to the front of the line?
Women, with so much rape and abuse, aren't going to go out with out protection, be it a knife, taser, self defense classes, of guns even if they are only supposed to have them in the home.

More hate and desperation will lead to more violence against europeans and more anti Semitism will lead to more attacks and terrorism. The refugees should have been given a safe zone within syria.

The refugees are more like locus leaving a wake of poverty and destruction behind them and then on to the next spot. If europe is left in economic straits, how will they raise money to help the refugees or their country? If europe is left morally and physically abuse by refugees it will create a need for race based gangs and a return to nationalism and hate for "foreigners".

I don't think most realize how much of a tinder box is being created by countries with generous hearts trying to do the right thing and help the refugees. It is not just refugees and there is no practical way to separate the good from bad.

How do you defend rapists? I am well aware of the adrenaline of war and the increase in rape, but for arab refugees to form gangs and carry out more than a hundred attack of women is unacceptable and indefensible.

Instead of just a stamps on a refugee card maybe they should be given a different type of stamp before being allowed to be around people.

It calms animals and make them better behaved.
