Germany shows us why Republican policies will ALWAYS "fail".

Economies are built on investing in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and scientific research.

Economies destroyed by funneling all the money to the top 10%.

See the French Revolution....

no. Economies are built on people going to work.

What exactly about the French Revolution do you want us to see?

Oh please, as if you facking care, drop the "good ridance" act.

I don't think he's acting flay

Yes he is acting, he's just talking out of his ass because he has nothing else to say. I'm stationed right here in Germany and happen to know that Americans stationed here and their families do envy a lot of the things that Germany provides for its citizens that we don't do in America such as having a health care system where you'll never have to worry about not being treated if you have a serious illness. I do know that the Germans laugh their asses off at the Republican vision of what socialism is.

Yeah, tell that to the people who get denied treatment. Im sure they love it.

Maybe you should learn to actually learn to work for what you want. It builds character.

Germany builds good cars. Good cars.

True!

There is not better Car as Mercedes in the World!

My family lived in Germany too, in the Army. Their insurance was from America, not Germany. STay there then if it's so wonderful. One less pain in the ass here. One less complainer.

Yeah, I'm one complainer who is serving my country you dipshat, wow if I was really that disatisfied with my country I would be serving in the Bundeswehr instead since I am a German citizen also.

I come from a long line of people who served their country. Husband's family lived there for 6 years. I also want people educated here, hell I think graduation from high school should be mandatory. Japan has one of the highest literacy rates around, they have excellent education system and work ethic, and they are NOT socialist. You can't make up your mind whether you're dissatisfied or not. And if you're going to call me names, learn to spell - it's dipshit, not dipshat.

Nope, sweet cakes, YOU are melting one. I for one am just as happy with things, even though I don't like the Democrats or anything they stand for, as I've been for 45 years. I pretty much do as I please and I shall continue to do so. And if some liberal doesn't like it, tough!

I' melting down for calling bullshat on a retard who makes a longwinded post full of hot air because he couldn't respond to the OP with anything meaningful except an ad hominem? Shut the fack up already. The majority of Americans certainly aren't satisfied with how things are going so you're just talking out of your ass.

YOU shut the fuck up already, asshole! No I'm NOT satisfied with Obama or any of his ilk, but I'm not going to move out of the country to get away from it. Nor do I want this country to adopt the government of Germany, France or even England. I am not in the habit of "talking out my ass" as you so intelligently put it - if I did, you've never know it.

You don't want things to change in America, you want things to get worse, you facking complain and whine and bitch yourself yet want to tell others to move out, ah just shut the fack up blowing hot air and get up off your lazy arse and do something.

You melted down a long time ago with your Hatch Act threats when you had your ass whipped in this forum, you're the last person to be talking about a facking meltdown you dumb ass cow.

And - I just don't believe "ad hominem" is right in this case. He actually meant that we are not going to adopt anything that Germany does, good or bad as it may seem. HE is not the one who started this by pointing out how wonderful Germany is, blah, blah.

It was an ad hominem, he just posted the copout "we are Americans" bullshat because he had nothing to say really so he went on a long rant.

I don't think it was a long rant, he hit the nail on the head.

You don't know anything about me. I'm 61, work two jobs, husband's retired. I vote, I volunteer, I am extremely active in my community. I am staying informed. things in this country can't get any worse, God help us if they do. Come November 2012, i hope we find we on the road to recovery!!

You realize that the party that has run Germany for the last several years is not the SDP but the CDU/CSU conservative coalition? In other words, the German version of the Republican party has been in power since November of 2005.

That's true; although not all Germans are satisfied with CDU/CSU the both make really a good job.

In Germany you can bet your ass that no one has to worry about getting medical treatment unlike the bullshat that health insurance companies pull back in the states, but you Republican dickheads see universal health care as socialism.

Like things before 2009 were a heavenly bliss, wtf ever and these Republicans are going to be little Jesus' thats going to restore America, you Republicans have shat for brains.

The ignorant Pub Dupes should know by now you can't move to Germany, the EU, Canad, OZ, NZ- unless you marry a citizen or have tons of money. Doyou live under a rock? tyvm

Here you go: Very basic tips for an American Moving to Germany

and

How to Move to Germany | eHow.com

Franco is not well. At best his grasp on reality is touch and go. I wouldn't expect a sane response

he is like Shamen and Douger.....very few posters seem to pay attention to these type of posters......i wonder why?.....:eusa_eh:

It was a long rant, if someone raises a valid point about something not being right in America but working in another country and all you can say is what he said its bullshat

The CDU/CSU is nothing like the Repug Party in the United States, they see the Republican Party as far right, you don't know shat about Germany, their political system is different, the CDU/CSU cannot take power without forming a coalition with other parties so there issome copromise on somethings and not the deadlock, all or nothing shat we have in America.

Our founders put measures in place to create deadlock when there is trouble in the republic. They where put in place as checks and balances against a runaway government like the one we have now. Is it pretty? Nope, but it works.

What the fack ever, I'm sick of hearing excuses of why our own politicians can't shat for our own people that pay their taxes. Deadlock hasn't worked for shat, all these near govt shutdowns have led to temporary solutions that pop right the hell back up, I say thats a failure of the system not an example of the system working.

Flaylo....if mommy wont let you swear then why dont you use the kids words for Shit and Fuck....you come off like real dipshit with your Fack and Shat.....

As designed.

The French Revolution is a good example of what is happening to America.

A country bankrupted by war and ruined by a concentration of too much wealth in too few hands.

Time to ready the guillotine....

The adjusted level of joblessness has now fallen to 2.92 million people, or 6.9 percent, the lowest for 20 years. The figures also show how Germany, Europe’s largest economy and one of the world’s leading export-driven economies, has fully recovered from the financial crisis of 2008, when almost 3.2 million people were registered as unemployed.

Figures from the labor agency showed that fewer companies were still working with short-time workers, especially the automobile industry, which has been lifted by growth in the Chinese market and the expansion there of the luxury car market as the middle class expands.

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/09/30/business/global/german-jobless-rate-declines.html

-----------------------------

Remember, Germany had to absorb another "entire" country, East Germany, after the collapse of the USSR. They are also being counted on to bail out other European countries.

Germany has almost no natural resources, yet, they are a leading exporter and have the worlds 5h largest economy.

They live longer.

Take more vacations.

The middle class is buying "luxury" cars.

They work fewer hours.

Everyone is covered by health care.

More people are educated.

They are a democratic country.

They have fast rail.

They are are using renewable energy.

They have the most strict laws in Europe for clean air and clean water.

The rich and the middle class are much closer together.

Government is involved with every aspect of business.

Government, Universities and Business works together.

It was only a couple of years before I was born the US was rebuilding Germany. Now, Republicans won't even let us rebuild this country. You don't see companies "fleeing" Germany because their corporate tax is too high. You don't see the rich taking their money and leaving because they don't like the tax rate. You don't see them slashing funding for education.

GOP Plans for America:

Slash education.

End Social Security.

End Medicare.

No infrastructure improvements.

End Romneycare.

Tax cuts for billionaires.

Subsidies for corporations.

If the Republican Plan is to turn us into a third world country, it's working. On the news, it was mentioned that at the Conservative Women's Convention in Kansas last week, 60% said they didn't believe in evolution. I never met a German who didn't believe in evolution. What does that have to do with anything? It's part of science and education.

Was that a trick post? According to David Cameron today, the German economy has slowed to a standstill. One of the looming problems for the EU.

German economy will grow 3.2-4 % this year with real wages increasing 1%.
For next year there's 0.7-2.3 % growth with continuous reduction in unemployed people.

The real stagnating economy is UK with 0.4% growth in Q1, 0.1% growth in Q2.
And probably a recession next year.
