With Syria signing the pact, only the US is out. While the pact does little but being a statement, countries provide their own targets, which Syria still has to.

"According to several people who were in a plenary session at the climate talks in Bonn, Germany, a Syrian delegate announced that the country was poised to send its ratification of the Paris agreement to the United Nations.

Syria has been mired in a civil war since 2011. And because the Syrian government is subject to European and American sanctions, its leaders were unable to send representatives abroad to negotiate or sign the pact.

It is not clear what has changed, and the Syrian delegate who spoke Tuesday did not offer an explanation for the government’s decision."

Where does using chemical and biological weapons on people fit into the Paris Climate Agreement?

My uncle Ron.

I have a serious question for serious people: If the US spent 3.2 billion, sorry trillion and lost 6.5 million jobs to go ahead and do this, how many lives would need to be lost?

Serious answers please.

The serious answer is that you are full of shit. More jobs right now in the solar sector than in coal. Not only that, wind and coal have both reached the point that either is cheaper, measured by kw delivered, than either coal or gas, and way cheaper than nuclear. The money that we are now spending on renewables will be saving us money in the future, while giving us cleaner air and water.

That's great! Why did you say I was full of shit?

Above is your statement. I took it to imply that we would spend 3.2 trillion and lose 6.5 million jobs by converting to renewables for our electric generation. If that is not what you meant, then I replied wrongly.

Looks like the decision to join Syria to the Accord was made and executed by the French in Paris, not Syria. Syria and its climate effect is now reduced to desert peasants burning abandoned bomb parts for camp fires at night. The purpose of the Syrian "joining" is to show off the USA.

But ... bullshit is bullshit, and even if you pay or sanction everyone to repeat the bullshit, it is still bullshit. Hehehe.

This makes no sense at all. Post something recognizable.
