Because Trump was pulling our troops off the ground and offering only air support (which is all that was needed to keep the taliban at bay) leaving the afghan troops to take care of their own lands with US air support thusly reducing the number of future US service people killed in AFGHAN and the cost to US taxpayers. Biden fucked this all up.
