Give me a reason

Iraq was a success until Obama decided to leave no US troops there to help Iraq fight off any AQI uprising.

Again were you not paying attention. Iraq kicked our asses out of their country, even though Obama wanted us to stay

The Iraq war ends with a sovereign Iraq kicking US out

That the Iraqis were in a position to kick the US out is probably the main accomplishment of the Iraq war.
The claim that President Obama met a campaign promise today is technically true – but only because Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki forced him to. Obama was seeking to keep troops in Iraq, perhaps as many as 15,000 of them, beyond the Dec. 31 withdrawal date. But the Iraqi government, led by Shiite Islamists with ties to Iran and well aware that an extension of the US occupation would be political poison for them (already dealing with public anger at rampant corruption and poor service delivery), had none of it. Mr. Maliki told Obama he could have his troops in the country if they were subject to Iraqi law, something he and everyone else knew was a deal-breaker.

Another sorry chapter in the long book of Karzai's game playing is this week's release of 65 terrorist, many who had attacked Americans.

It reminds me of a long story related by a member of the Canadian RCMP, part of a force of 50 sent to Afghanistan as trainers and mentors for the enlarged police forces started under Karzai's administration a few years ago. Well, like most things involving Karzai, it was a token effort. They had recruited the larger number who were illiterate and had no driving experience at all. The morale among those officers Canada sent plummeted. They went thinking they'd be helping to bring about a strong police force to protect the marginalized people, especially women, against the Taliban. But, it was like a staged gimmick, Karzai putting on a show of concern. Imagine, putting forth police candidates who can't record their observations, or pursue a suspect!

For that matter, most every leader the west, especially the U.S., has propped up in the middle east has turned out to be a scoundrel. How many lives have been senselessly lost, how much treasure pilfered, for scum as the Shah of Iran, Saddam Hussein, Hosni Mubarek and this guy Karzai?

Its a tragedy for so many families who have lost young ones.

Stupid fuck...Iraq didn't kick us out, Obama pulled out to check off one of his election promises.

He didn't give a shit AQI and Iran would rush into the vacuum he helped create there by not getting a SOFA with Iraq and keeping a small US spec ops force there to kill terrorists.

Don't even act like you know more about Iraq than me, asswipe.

One of the smartest policies ever was when John Kennedy declared that a missile attack from Cuba would be considered a missile attack from the Soviet Union.

This is the sort of policy that we should use when dealing with Middle East nations that harbor terrorists.

No more 'nation building'! If any nation has terrorists in their borders and those terrorists strike American targets, we go to war with that nation. Not the type of nice 'nation building' war that we've done in Iraq and Afghanistan. Bomb them back to the stone ages!
