I think this guy should run for POTUS. The GOP party base would overwhelmingly support him.

But Florida Republican State Rep. Charles Van Zant took the Common Core critique to a new level by claiming that the educational initiative promoted by the Obama administration will turn your children "homosexual."

The sad fact is that 44 states enacted Common Core. The standards were set by the states and had no federal funding. It had huge right wing support, including from big right wing heroes like Jan Brewer, Bobby Jindal, Jeb Bush, and Mike Huckabee.

44 states. Total GOP support.

Then one day the Obama Administration endorsed Common Core. And just like flipping a switch, some of the more retarded on the Right suddenly began saying, "We have always been at war with Common Core."

It's downright Orwellian, folks.
