GOP Presidential Candidates Unionizing? Isn't That Socialism?

How is it comparing Apple's and oranges, except not choosing to join a Union don't entail killing a baby in it's mother's womb?

Don't try to derail this thread with your abortion bullshit. Hitler banned unions. Republicans are trying to do the same thing.

You're a liar. It was FDR that said public sector unions didn't serve the countries interest. And name one private sector union or any union for that matter the republicans have attempted to ban through legislation.

Hitler banned unions! That's a fact. And, I didn't differentiate between private and public sector unions. It's a fact that many Republicans want to ban public sector unions - and they are also after private sector unions.

But in some cases — mostly in states with Republican governors and Republican statehouse majorities — officials are seeking more far-reaching, structural changes that would weaken the bargaining power and political influence of unions, including private sector ones.

In other words NO REPUBLICAN has submitted legislation to ban any union so you comparison is totally bogus, as usual.

Like I said before....after being the president of a union and a Democrat Reagan totally re did his politics because of one thing...he didn't want to pay taxes on his multi million dollar income. The prick almost single handedly did away with the middle class in this country. Wanna' know how? He borrowed $3 trillion from foreign banks and handed it to the richest people in America in the form of tax cuts:

There's a difference between unifying and unionizing. If debate moderators were responsible enough to have not taken personal shots at the candidates and had stayed on topic, this wouldn't be an issue.
Havana Ted was asked an economics question and he chose to use his time to sermonize.

So their argument is total bullshit.

Sen. Cruz was asked a loaded "how often do you beat your wife" type of a question by a man-child who threw some economic content to spin it. Cruz called the moderator and the rest of the Democrat lapdogs out for the corrupt bias they have brought to journalism.

Who gives a phiddler's phuck what Cruz said or did??

Read the congressional record from the 106th congress. The Clinton administration bought back nearly $300 billion of debt because it was more profitable to do that than to just let it build. From the congressional record:

(1) the Congressional budget plan has $505,000,000,000 over
ten years in unallocated budget surpluses that could be used
for long-term medicare reform, other priorities, or debt
reduction;

THEN......Along came slow walkin', slow talkin' George and cut tax rates for his rich friends, not once but twice using reconciliation to keep the Democrats from stopping it. It's a matter of record....all you have to do is find it and read it. Can you do that or does Faux News have to keep you updated?

All that and you have yet to prove your claim the republicans want to ban unions.

One small problem, the surplus never materialized, did it, the debt continued to rise year to year, meaning there was a deficit.

It sure sounds like it. The campaigns are reportedly planning to meet this weekend to collectively plan and organize how their future debates will be conducted. It has also been reported that the RNC is not invited. This is really getting wild. I've never seen anything like it. RNC Chairman Reince Priebus is desperately trying to put a positive spin on this revolt - but he's not invited.

Campaigns Consider Dramatic Changes To The GOP Debates

In order for an entity to be socialist the GOVERNMENT MUST CREATE IT AND FINANCE IT

AMERICANS HAVE A FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT TO UNIONIZE

They don't have any constitutional right to prevent corporations from coming to an agreement with other parties, and that's what federal labor law does.

The OP sure sounds like socialism to me! It's good to see the GOP presidential candidates embracing socialism by collectively overrunning the RNC. Reminds me of Benghazi.

Socialism is a social and economic system characterized by social ownership and control of the means of production, as well as a political theory and movement that aims at the establishment of such a system. "Social ownership" may refer to public ownership, cooperative ownership, citizen ownership of equity, or any combination of these.

He only wants right to choice for women to kill baby's in their womb.

Grown men the right to choose joining a Union ? nope, he wants to force them tp join a union/pay union dues...and that money going to democrats who in turn votes against those grown men self interest.

He still can not figure out RTW stated still have private and public Unions

Don't confuse Teamwork with Socialism or Unions.

I didn't know "teamwork" included taking over and throwing out the boss - the RNC.

There is no boss. That's union talk.

I didn't know "teamwork" included hijacking the company.

And this has what to do with republicans wanting to ban unions?

BTW, how did the debt keep rising when we had this mythical surplus?

Read the congressional record from the 106th congress. The Clinton administration bought back nearly $300 billion of debt because it was more profitable to do that than to just let it build. From the congressional record:

(1) the Congressional budget plan has $505,000,000,000 over
ten years in unallocated budget surpluses that could be used
for long-term medicare reform, other priorities, or debt
reduction;

One small problem, the surplus never materialized, did it, the debt continued to rise year to year, meaning there was a deficit.

You don't know what you're talking about. Just curious....where were you in 1998,1999,2000 and 2001? You goddam sure weren't listening to or reading the news. The congress decided to use nearly $400 billion of surpluses to buy back debt because doing that not only eliminated that amount from the debt it saved the annual interest which must be paid on all our debt. You didn't think those foreign banks were loaning those trillions Reagan and the Bushes borrowed interest free did you?

Some folks just don't get it!!
Cut taxes....keep spending, increase debt.
Raise taxes, balance budget, accumulate surplus!
Bill Clinton raised taxes in 1993 while he still had a Democrat majority then proceeded to not only balance the budget but to create a surplus.

Feel free to point out the year that the debt actually went down, because it ain't in your charts.

From your link:
09/30/2001 $5,807,463,412,200.06(First Bush Tax Cuts Enacted Using Reconciliation)

09/30/1997 $5,413,146,011,397.34

Not one year did the debt go down.

I heard some of them insisted the temp be exactly 67 degrees. Let me guess Chris Christie? Rubios a sweater. Fiorino makeup? Carson gets sleepy?

Actually, less than 67 degrees.
