Government wants site to name trolls

If there was a threat. There was no threat, so no need to investigate.

Think I will trust the law enforcement authorities and the independent member of the judiciary who found probable cause to issue the warrant over you, despite your 30 to 40 point IQ advantage you seem to think you have over me.

so shit talking on a web site can get you sent to prison.

The 1st Amendment is dead.
No one has gone to prison no one has been charged. If the posters were just blowing smoke, no one will.
it's called tyranny

the government is using force to shut people up
No. It is called investigating a threat to kill a federal judge.
No it's not.

it's not a threat, but whatever, you want bigger government, clearly.

Law enforcement investigating a threat to kill a federal judge who presided over a trial and had been threatened in the past over the same trial is not bigger government.

No one in particular was threatened. The statement "people" like (fill in the blank) should be taken outside and shot, is not a direct threat to anyone in particular. It is a statement of opinion, wrong as it may be.

The reason there is an investigation is to determine IF there was a threat. That is kind of what law enforcement does, they investigate.
