I'd tend to agree with you if we haven't had DECADES of festering ignored MAJOR issues that Congress has ignored. They don't write real law anymore. They leave it to the minions of morons in the bureaucracy. And they don't MANAGE existing programs. Seems like they only PREFER to have those problems rotting away at the potential of this country.

Don't think we can afford to have no action on immigration law and enforcement or fixing the smoking ruins of healthcare insurance. The FIRST is a Constitutional duty. The 2nd is just reparations for meddling in things that they have no expertise in..
