The so-called "Greatest Generation" was WW2 not WW1. The term was created by news reader Tom Brokaw in a book and is actually insulting to other generations. The WW2 Soldiers were no greater than any other generation. They were mostly draftees who did their duty just like the Korean and Vietnam Vets and every other conflict.
