I want to know how yall all feel about this. Personally I'm an in insanely conservative Christian, and believe that it is evil. But how about yall?

You believe what is evil? Christianity? Or gun control? Or guns?

I've always said, I don't believe it's guns themselves that need controlling -- as they like to say in games of semantics, "guns don't kill people"; I think what needs controlling is the gun fetish (obsession, deification, culture, whatever you wanna call it). Once we grow up and stop glorifying this mindless juvenile idea of shooting people, the endless stream of copycat carnage will dry up. Absent the motivation, it doesn't happen, regardless how many guns are available.

I think it's a waste of time to try to control guns. I can support this, though:

I think they should adjust it so it doesn't affect those who live with someone who's lost his right to own a firearm, but overall, it's the right way to do things. Controlling people works so much better.
