At about point 3.0 you find out what all is required for someone to get a gun in OR under this .. not sure if it is still a bill or if it is already a law but it is being fought against by 2nd Amendemnt groups. Basically, you are treated as a criminal if you want to buy a gun, even though most people want to buy them to STOP criminals :icon_rolleyes: The Left love criminals with or without guns.. law abiding folks.. not so much

Most people cannot do what is required by this bill.

The Right to Bear Arms is actually the right to self-defense, and it is most fundamental human right.
The Corrupt Democrat Party represents the criminals in our society, not the innocent people who want to be able to defend themselves from criminals.

Ignorant nonsense.

The measure is perfectly consistent with Second Amendment case law.

Should at some point in the future the Supreme Court invalidate some or all of the provisions of the law, then and only then will the measure be in violation of the Second Amendment.

2A case law:
When the Second Amendment’s plain text covers an individual’s conduct, the Constitution presumptively protects that conduct. To justify its regulation, the government may not simply posit that the regulation promotes an important interest. Rather, the government must demonstrate that the regulation is consistent with this Nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation.

When did the state of Oregon demonstrate that the regulation is consistent with this Nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation?
