So you feel he was comparing Boehner to Hitler? For the record, he didn't actually compare Obama to Hitler.
What is a hillbilly?Let's take a hillbilly who dropped out of school before he finished the 6th grade and supports himself by mowing lawns, by himself, for a living. That number two is always interesting. Can black people be racist? Sure they can........if they have power with which to make life more difficult for another race.
Without power.....we are talking about ethnocentrism and prejudice. Different.
Let's say he regularly uses the term ni**er, tells racist jokes, won't eat in any restaurant that a Black will, and generally makes it crystal clear that he can't stand a Black person simply because they are Black. He also tells his sister that he will never speak to her again if she dates a Black man.
The hillbilly certainly has no power over the life of another. So, he is not racist.
OK. That's just really, really stupid.

No it wasn't. HWJr's freedom of speech wasn't infringed upon. He is perfectly free to continue to spout his nonsense. ESPN is also perfectly free not to employ him if they (or more likely their advertisers) don't like what he says.
The Dixie sluts said derogatory things about our troops and America !!! Hank Williams told the truth about an Anti American !!Yeah, his freedom went the way of the Dixie Chicks. Williams is a pig. So is his buddy Ted "Draft Dodger" Nugent.

Perhaps someone should have asked Hank Williams Jr exactly what his thoughts are about Hitler, as they may not at all be alongside of that of mainstream's.
I was not surprised that he retracted and apologized, it seems those in the public eye of the media are forever expected to be politically correct and the obvious things Hitler stood for was not popular on many scales.
Regardless, there were things accomplished through and during his reign that may not have been if he had not been who he was... good, bane, or outright bad.

I think they sais something like "its embarassing to have GWB as president".
I think that was not a mistake or a faux paus.
It was merely not what alot of the peopel who buy their records thought at the time.
Fortunately they found a broader fan base for saying it.
During a London concert ten days before the 2003 invasion of Iraq, lead vocalist Maines said "we don't want this war, this violence, and we're ashamed that the President of the United States (George W. Bush) is from Texas".[1] The statement offended many Americans, who thought it rude and unpatriotic, and the ensuing controversy cost the band half of their concert audience attendance in the United States and led to accusations of the three women being "un-American", as well as hate mail, death threats, and the public destruction of their albums in protest.[2]
