Per Trump's narrative about negotiation, after he walks, the other side caves and does everything he wants.

But Fox didn't. They held the debate without Trump. Kelly moderated despite Trump's demand. And the other candidates got superb coverage while Trump didn't. With Trump then losing Iowa and admitting that perhaps missing the debate was a mistake.
