This media-contest vignette (my last one!) was inspired by the sociology-daydream films Chasing Amy, Valerian, Judge Dredd, and Zodiac.

Signing off,

A new heroine arose from a sea of pure modernism hell, marked mostly by axe-wielding urban crime syndicates in LA and NYC and corrupt politicians. The heroine's name was Hera, and she was basically a fabrication of pedestrian Utopianism, created by a freelance radical comic book artist/writer Ajay Satan (pseudonym, 'Valerian'). Satan/Valerian wanted to present a heroine who represented the 'hope of ease' in tackling the scales of evil (regarding racism and poverty).

Challenging the social appeal of 'Hera' (a great creation for Satan/Valerian) was a conservative Christian naked Kartik Duncan who made models of futurama human soldiers on a Venus colony tackling a nefarious semi-insect (giant) and semi-dragon predatory creature known as the 'Xenomorph.' For every quality of liberalism hysteria Valerian's Hera offered, Duncan's Xeno offered mass audiences a tangible fantasy-adventure look at the 'aesthetics' of youthfully vigorous conservative politics in a modern urbanized world plagued by the bloody cyst of seemingly completely incurable crime. Xeno represented interests in martial law, controlled immigration, TV censors, economic elitism as a 'haven,' and of course, arson-rhetoric as a 'mode' to talk about capitalism shared-profit potential overflow!

Valerian realized Hera would have to pull out a macro-level 'miracle' to downplay the newfound social cheers afforded to Duncan and his eccentric horror-comics creation 'Xenomorph.' Valerian wrote a series of stories for the New Yorker about Hera dealing with the feminism-telescope to deal with the modern problem of urban hell-hole control. Valerian's Hera would use fertility-promotion rhetoric to appeal to minority-led urban crime syndicates to rechannel their communities' energies towards political engagement and civics revolution. Hera and Xenomorph would become so enticingly engaged that U.S. President Donald J. Trump (descendant of U.S. President Donald Trump) would remark (on the eve of nuclear war with antagonistic North Korea), "Hera challenging the menacing Xeno reveals we're still interested in the 'politics of small business and community-based values,' and that is eternal!"
