Hey cons: if your solution to the min wage issue is to tell those people...

..."Go to school! Learn new skills, you lazy asses!"

...then who would replace them to work in the service industry? How could those industries survive if so many of the workers make minimum wage?

Keep in mind we are including state minimum wages here - not just the federal one. Right now anyone making a state minimum wage is living in poverty. Working up to 40 hours a week Is not enough for these people to live financially stable lives.

42% of American workers make less than $15 per hour. What is your solution to helping these people out of poverty?

You people are full of bitching but you have no real solutions.
There are always a slew of new 16 year olds looking to enter the work force part time in entry level positions every single year genius. In addition, there are always elderly people leaving the work force and looking to supplement their social security and pension incomes with part time jobs.

The fact that you need that explained to you....wow..... :lmao:
It's incredible to me the sheer lack of critical thinking skills you people have. 42% of workers in America make less than 15 per hour. My god you people are dumb. This isn't about fucking teenagers is it?
Says the idiot so lacking in "critical thinking skills" that he couldn't grasp that raising minimum wage eliminates jobs. You can have a low wage job or a no wage job, stupid. Actions do not exist in a vacuum and business owners do not eat cost. It's astounding that you are so befuddled by basic economics and basic business principles. Here junior....ask an adult to read this to you:

California's $15 Minimum Wage Deal Will Cause Unemployment--And We Have Proof Of This
I think raising the wage to 15 is too big of a leap for now. It can be done in places like California that could handle it, but not nation wide. And did Cali lose jobs? Probably a few. However, over time the boost to consumer spending would create jobs. Economics 101.

600 economists signed a letter to congress in support of Obama raising the minimum wage to 10.10 per hour.

You spelled "communists" wrong.

This should make me sad but youre so stupid its actually humorous.

"People do not purchase "debt""

That's foolish. Of course, people purchase debt. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac purchase mortgages daily. For your information, mortgages are the instrument used to pledge real property as security for a debt. The note is the evidence of the debt which is incorporated into the mortgage.

The mortgages are bought at a discount. A private individual, myself for example, may purchase a mortgage. If you are holding a mortgage, you can sell that instrument to someone else or those storefront second mortgage companies will buy them as well.

That is purchasing DEBT.

I am HOPING that you are simply being facetious and not really as ignorant as you appear.
That was great. Talk to your buddy Rottweiller. He was the one that claimed people didnt purchase debt.

They don't. They purchase investment loans you moron. You're the genius who said that (and I quote) "the U.S. monetary system is backed by debt" :lmao:

Then of course I post link after link showing you how stupid you are and you run like a little girl.
What is a loan genius?
laugh.gif
Your debt, stupid... And nobody comes to you and buys that from you. Instead, they buy the investment loan from the bank (which is not the banks debt - the bank already gave you money - they don't owe you, you owe them). :lmao:

Good grief you are one dumb little monkey...
I never said anything about my debt. Dont try to pretend thats what you believed just because everyone is laughing at you.

Lets see if we can dumb this down for people like Ass-clepias:

Bank of America's books:

They made one loan to Ass-clepias for $200,000. It's an investment where Ass-clepias will pay them back $500,000 over 30 years. Thank bank does not have a debt to Ass-clepias. They gave her money. Ass-clepias owes the bank.

Now, the bank bought the land that they built their branch on from Donald Trump. It cost $60 million. Trump agreed to let them pay the loan in monthly installments over 30 years. That is the banks debt.

Now, along comes Merkel looking to invest. He goes to Bank of America. Does he ask to buy from them the $60 million they owe Trump so that he can not only pay Bank of America for that privilege, but then turn around and pay Trump as well? Or does he give Bank of America $250,000 for the rights to the Ass-clepias investment so that in the long run, he can receive the $500,000 that Ass-clepias owes Bank of America?

Nobody purchases debt you fuck'n moron. Nobody. That is why you can't get any money for all the debt you owe. The fact that you don't understand the difference between debit and credit is fall down hilarious (and kind of tragic as well).

I'm curious.....since people "buy debt" - why don't you sell all of your debt to someone and retire?

Man, I've heard some funny stuff in my day, but this is priceless. Is it any wonder this buffoon called Obama "the greatest president in U.S. history"? If you don't even know that the person making a loan is owed and the person taking the loan is in debt, then of course you would be confused by everything else going on in the world.

How many hours does one have to work to pay $800 for a shitty apartment?

Anyway, $7.25 a meal, x2 people x 3 meals a day. Think about it.

So the question becomes - why aren't you providing these people with jobs that make $90,000? Why are you so heartless, selfish, and greedy that you refuse to start a company and pull them out of poverty?

^lame. Demand creates jobs, not businesses.
There was demand for portable cell phones long before businesses actually put them out on the market.
As usual your knowledge of economics is a failure.

Actually you said that! You've told us time and time again that nobody has showed up at your home and asked to give you money to assume your debts.... :lmao:

I agree. It is lame that you refuse to do anything other than whine about it on message boards and vote for failed liberal socialist policies.

That's lame too, hypocrite.
I agree....everything you're doing is lame. You cry about the problem, but you refuse to help anyone. You are a lame, disgusting, hypocrite. Or, in a nut shell, a liberal.

Only the government can enforce a minimum wage. You post like a child.

So, if a worker needs food stamps because their employer doesn't pay them enough, that's not corporate welfare to you?

American poors are better off? Bullshit.

Your propaganda fails HJ. This is from a government study (you know - the government - that entity which you people worship as God?)...

As scholar James Q. Wilson has stated, “The poorest Americans today live a better life than all but the richest persons a hundred years ago.”[3] In 2005, the typical household defined as poor by the government had a car and air conditioning. For entertainment, the household had two color televisions, cable or satellite TV, a DVD player, and a VCR. If there were children, especially boys, in the home, the family had a game system, such as an Xbox or a PlayStation.[4] In the kitchen, the household had a refrigerator, an oven and stove, and a microwave. Other household conveniences included a clothes washer, clothes dryer, ceiling fans, a cordless phone, and a coffee maker.

Air Conditioning, Cable TV, and an Xbox: What is Poverty in the United States Today?

You not trusting government statistics is not my problem.
Yeah....uh....I proved the government statistics. You choose to ignore them because - well - ignoring facts and reality is just what liberals do.

What did you do?

What did I do? I posed both a link and a quote proving what you said was wrong.

I admit you were unaware that people buy debt. I know thats embarrassing for you.

So again junior....if people "buy debt"....why don't you sell all of your debt and retire? Or at least use the money to get yourself an education. :lmao:

What the hell are you talking about? There was no demand for portable cell phones until they were created and made available. Cordless phones had not even been created then.

Are you willing to buy my debt? I can put you in touch with a guy that holds the note on one of my homes. He may want to cash out so you could get yourself a bargain if you can afford it.

if you want to make it real interesting I can sell you my position on that note if you like.

Only the government can enforce a minimum wage. You post like a child.

Why do you need it "enforced" upon you? Why don't you decide what a good wage is and then provide that for people?

Don't get pissed at me because you have the logic of a child. You're selfish, lazy, and greedy. You don't want to help anyone, but you try to convince yourself to feel better because you vote for government to put a gun to the head of people who actually do create jobs (unlike you).

There doesn't need to be coercion. The beauty of America is freedom. You and all of your libtard pals are free to create jobs and free to pay any wage you want. The question is - why don't you? (Hint: because you're all selfish, lazy, and greedy).
