Let us imagine for a moment if President Obama had ordered Comey to announce to the American people that Donald Trump and his campaign were being investigated by the FBI for illegal collusion with the Russians.

The announcement would have been completely accurate. And Trump would have lost the election.

And you would all be screaming that Obama made the announcement for purely political reasons.

But when Trump pushes a conspiracy theory on Ukraine- and secretly demands that Ukraine made a public announcement of an investigation- you are perfectly okay with that.
