See far left continues to spew their hatred and racism.

It is sad to see so many in the far left just not own to be the true racists they are, once they can admit to then we can help them over come it.

Until then they choose to remain ignorant and racist.

The Republican party had liberal ideals when it was founded and was pro-business.

Also, the "conservative" side of the GOP did not exist until the 1960's-1970's.
They originally believed in one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

The terms "under god" and "in god we trust" were introduced in 1954 and 1956 by the religious right.

Isn't it odd that the Democratic party is like the republican party before the religious right?

Actually the term "progressive" was born in the republican party and is still far and away more progressive than the current far left Democratic regime.

The democrat party cares not for the black man except as LBJ stated. They are good for votes. If that were not true they would have apologized for the racist past years ago. But instead they invent the lie of racists switching parties. Why would racists leave the party that freed the slaves? That didn't pass poll taxes. Didn't invent Jim Crow laws? There would be no reason. IF the liberal left can produce ANYTHING that shows Republicans have not ALWAYS supported black issues they would do so. Of course they will invent things like voter disenfranchisement but that is just an indication of how desperate they are.

But think about this. The democrat party says they are not the same party they were 60 years ago, that some magical transformation happened. They say their brand is not soiled. But they won't take responsibility for the KKK. An organization that is, by what I know about it, is nothing like it was when the democrats started the organization. You know like the liberal President showing "Birth of a Nation" in the Whitehouse.

Democrats they won't apologize, or worse they keep the name of the party that was instrumental in prolonging slavery.

In God we trust was not introduced by the religious right.
It was added because in 1956, the nation was at a particularly tense time in the Cold War, and the United States wanted to distinguish itself from the Soviet Union, which promoted state atheism.
As a result, the 84th Congress passed a joint resolution "declaring IN GOD WE TRUST the national motto of the United States." The law was signed by President Eisenhower on July 30, 1956.
The United States Code at 36 U.S.C. § 302, now states: "'In God we trust' is the national motto."
