Hottest bass line you ever heard

Tom Fowler ( Zappa, Ray Charles, Steve Hackett....)
Tons of killer bass lines all through this song.

That was cool. I think I was busy being a PFC, having people yell at me and missed it.

Arthur Barrow. Absolutely brilliant work on the bass live improvisation back Zappa with Vinny Colaiuta on drums.

I'm not a musician, I had to listen to this like a million times, it's like downloaded all 9 Beethoven symphonies at once. Barrow has I think 14 songs on the ShutNPlayYerGuitar CD's and you see why.

He never steps over Zappa's solos and finds divine inspiration for the bass lines...just beautiful

I enjoy listening to McCartney’s bass playing in Dear Prudence.

I've played baritone horn, BB flat bass, baritone sax....This is the greatest bass line I've heard....EVAH!

Prove me wrong.

THE hottest bass line I've heard in a song is Paul McCartney's bass playing in his song, "Silly Love Songs". His bass is so prominent, it's actually the LEAD instrument. And it continuously drives the song for over 5 minutes in the extended version. Just some fantastic playing by Sir Paul.
