House GOP sending Obama a message on health repeal

McClatchy-Marist Poll Nov. 15th

Favor repeal of the healthcare bill:

33%

Where's that (R)etard who was going to post a 'shitload' of polls that said most Americans wanted the bill repealed?

I predict he'll be back, jabbering like a monkey...lol...

Health Policy

About 7 of 10 Americans do not want a mandatory purchase requirement. About 7 of 10 Americans do not want outright appeal. Thus it sounds like a 70% opportunity for horsetrading. If that is true, then America will probably give the Senate and the House to the GOP in 2012 and retain Obama in office to work out the details of health care.

You could take the mandatory bit out of the bill and it wouldn't change the right's opinion of it one iota.

The far right will not count when it comes to horse trading at all: they don't have enough numbers to even force the GOP to do what they want.

Nah, the GOP will attempt to "hold hostage" the government funding, and Obama will stare them down without a blink. Newt was stupid enough to try it, and it cost him. Boehner, I don't think, will be that stupid and foolish in the long run. He was willing to compromise in the lame duck session, and the Dems and GOP finally got some necessary things done.

All the bellyaching for the cameras and the folks back home is one thing; governing is another.

I get so tired of this whole "socialism" thing. Just the fact that Republicans are screwing the middle class over and over again proves there is no socialism.

WASHINGTON – Eager to show who's now in charge, the House's new Republican majority plans to vote to repeal President Barack Obama's landmark health care overhaul before he even shows up in their chamber to give his State of the Union address.

Though full repeal is a longshot — the House vote would be just the first, easiest step — they'll follow up with dozens of attempts to hack away at what they derisively call "Obamacare."

A vote that would not pass through to the senate, and would be vetoed by the president. Yawn.

Political grandstanding to appease Tea Baggers
Sorry jerky.. Parts of Obamacare will be de-funded.
Get off your ass and go buy your own damned health insurance.
What makes you libs think you have the right to make we the producers pay for your healthcare?
I do no want anyone but ME to pay for MY health insurance.
Sick and tired of you fucking liberals every time you get an idea, it ends up coming out of my bank account.
You are always covered. You always find ways to exclude yourselves from any responsibility.

The Rs are going to sink Obama's HC reform, you say?

Good.

Then it will inevitably get worse and perhaps the next reform might actually be something that truly reforms the system.

The definition of liberalism is not "someone who disagrees with thereisnospoon."

The poll numbers disagree with you.
