We've been lambasting Republicans who side with the enemy (Democrats) for decades now. such luminaires as Bob Dull, John McStain, Mittens, Paul Ryan, and Mitch the Bitch. We need REAL Conservatives in the GOP. Not two faced mealymouthed Liberals masquerading as Republicans.

What you have is a bunch of uneducated, uninformed Trump supporters
who are masquerading as Republicans. This is an apt description of a rino in today's world. Stupid and illiterate people whose actions are defended by Trump and his supporters, invade our Capitol and don't consider the consequences of their morbid actions are a prime example. Trump is a rino who was a liberal Democrat until the day he ran for office; in other words--a hypocrite.

The metaphor I use for Trump is Frankenstein. Particularly the Hammer Films version with Peter Cushing, which pointed out that the true monster was the mad doctor and not the creatures he created.

The GOP figured out after 1964 that "Working harder for less money to make the Rich Richer" wasn't a campaign slogan that anyone could get behind. They tried it, and Goldwater lost 44 states. Five of the six states he did win he only won because those people were still pissed off at LBJ for the Civil Rights and Voting Rights acts.

So the GOP got the brilliant idea that the best way to get the white working class to vote against their own economic interests was to play on their religious, racial and sexual fears. And frankly, the 1960's were a scary time for that. So like Dr. Frankenstein, they cobbled together this monster of gun nuts, religious nuts, racist nuts and libertarian nuts.

Trump is just the latest iteration of the monster created by the One Percent. While the other Monsters could be contained (Nixon, Reagan, Bush), the latest monster they made truly rampaged across the countryside. Trump personified these worst instincts.
