How is life for you in what state you’re living in.

Connecticut is terrible. I need a new roof on my house. Supposedly, the house was perfect 7 years ago but now I find out it is shot and was never built to code. But the appraiser and loan people said it was all fine.

25k to replace the roof, it seems to me that is way too much money

so, I went out for a sandwich and a beer, $25
Holy Toledo have you consider doing a steel roof? My parents got one about two years ago at their home…. And even when it rains, it’s not that bad. Apparently the price is more cost Efficient compared to traditional roofs…. I don’t know much about roofs tho . hope it works out for you.

I just spent $80 on groceries that would’ve cost 45 when Trump was in office. I get all fresh food fresh meats although I got some frozen sausage patties for breakfast. I got protein bars, apples, steak strips , burgers , pork ribs, among other things

He is trying to derail because he knows there will be nothing complimentary to the democrats or Biden. He won't contribute because he would be forced to tell the truth.
It’s unfortunate to see some of my fellow Democrats turn into outright anti-American racists and trolls. It’s par for the course for them to provide one to 10 word responses to a thread that is either a trolling response or personal attack

When Biden supporters are paying more money for groceries I wonder what’s going through their mind.?

I will be investigating steel in a few years. I hear they can be noisy. Snow doesn't accumulate as badly and they are a Godsend in case of wild fire.

My buddy is getting a new arch-steel roof in CA.......$40K

I can kind of hear it when I’m at my parents house when it’s raining …but frankly it’s not too bad I suppose there are a number of factors though that Go in to making this decision.

Two glasses of wine, a plate of spaghetti and a small plate of ravioli in a run of the mill Italian place cost us $55.73 plus tip last night. That did not include ANYTHING else.
You got off easy. Washington minimum wage is almost $16 here.

I wouldn't have an issue with hearing rain. Lol. I love the sound of rain hitting the roof...puts me to sleep. Probably the only thing I miss about Seattle.

Eastern WA. Our gas prices are nearing $5--$4.79 yesterday. Groceries are up at least 25%. Electric is up 11%. Seattle is the laughing stock of the nation where homeless, drugs and crime are rampant. Liberal city council and mayor have defunded the police and the new police chief is clueless as to what should be done. Gov. Jay Inslee and the democrat controlled house and senate have done nothing to return order, electing instead to push every liberal hot button issue that they encounter.
There’s tons of videos, showing various areas in Seattle where there’s prostitute walking in the wide-open and its lots of them many of them wearing no clothes, basically.. Open air drug use. Back in the day that stuff was behind closed doors.

Of course that’s the place where they had the chop zone…. I feel for the hard-working people of Seattle they deserve better than this

Yeah, remember last year when they told us the increased gas tax wouldn't increase the cost of gasoline?

It’s really not that bad. If you like it all the more better. I assume you’re in Arizona what a beautiful looking state that is. In terms of the landscape, I love the red rock Mountainous background. I drove across it last year…and I visited Sedona, Arizona as a youngster with my parents a while ago. 👍

I understand the cost of living in parts of Arizona is quite higher compared to Buffalo New York but you get what you pay for. What makes it more challenging though as you can imagine is the inflation the Joe Biden economic policies which are harming this country.

Nevertheless, Arizona retains its natural beauty

I took this pic in a place called the St. George district which is on the border of Utah and Arizona. It’s not the best picture, but you can see the red rock mountains in the background. I was really blown away by the natural beauty of the landscape here in the western part of the United States. I understand though in this area, the cost of living is pretty high. But wow what a place to be.

CA, home prices skyrocketing, interest rates skyrocketing, gas prices sky high. Big cities full of homeless, drugs and feces. I live in rural CA and we are conservative, clean and mask free.
I was in LA when I was about 18 years old. Played poker at Morongo Casino . This was over 15 years ago perhaps back then LA was a different place.

But I hear a lot about the struggles in places like Los Angeles, Oakland and San Francisco and I wish the best for these areas.

I understand LA is practically the highest cost of living area in the country. Many folks there have sold their homes pocketed half of the money and move to places like Las Vegas, which unfortunately jacked up the prices of apartment rent and homes in Las Vegas. I don’t blame folks for fleeing California. But I’m glad to see that there are the conservative areas of California that are trying to hang onto pro American traditions.

Seattle has been left-leaning since as far as I can remember, but it took a super hard left turn in the early 2000's & it has been getting worse & worse since then.
