In the Russian Federation, there was recently a trial on the activities of the public organization "Memorial", which was engaged in collecting information about the crimes of Bolshevism in the territory of the former USSR.

As a result, the organization was banned.

According to the participants in the process, among other arguments, it featured the following: "You are creating the image of a terrorist state for the USSR."

This is a ridiculous thesis.

Firstly, neither the state of the Russian Federation nor the people of the Russian Federation bear any responsibility for the crimes of past regimes.

Secondly, the concept of "image" has nothing to do with an objective trial.

And thirdly, the Bolsheviks did not hide at all that they were engaged in terror, this is in their documents and books.

As far as I remember, the criminal activities of the CPSU have already been proven. In the early 90s, there was a process, as a result of which this party was recognized as a criminal one, and its activities were banned on the territory of the Russian Federation.
