Already long past that point. We are now to the point that the "Right" (Conservatives) represent holding onto preserving the traditional America we all grew up loving:

• Wholesome values.
• Family.
• Respect for others.
• Civility.
• Hard work.
• Church on Sundays.
• Honesty.
• Clean living.
• Exceptionalism.

While the Left (Liberals) have devolved into everything left over. Fundamental change.

• Destruction of the family unit.
• Subversive ideology.
• Anger, hate, violence, discontent and disrespect geared towards change.
• Multiculturalism and diversity over unity.
• Entitlement.
• Atheism and moral relativism.
• Gender confusion.
• Social upheaval and anarchy.
• Lack of accountability.

One America worked, very well. This other new America isn't working out at all.

What's a republican thing ? Surely not the constitution. That's an American thing. Now the actions of either party could be defined as a constitutional thing, just as long as they meet the requirements.

Can you find that info for me? I doubt that the founders meant that- I'm pretty sure they wrote the constitution for the US gov't for whomever inhabited this place we call home to help prevent official tyranny by said US gov't against said inhabitants- see, they were 13 colonies who declared independence from England and formed 13 sovereign (as in separate and independent) states- there were no requirements about citizenship or declaration of allegiance to a Party- or collective of any sort- the US gov't was to be neutral, you know, not favor one over another- so, fond me the info contrary to that and I'll take it into account-
