1. Let bygones be bygones and vote on his qualifications
2. Admit the Republicans got one on you with Garland and move on
3. Retaliate for Republicans stealing the Garland seat and block the nomination
4. Declare war and refuse to fill any Republican SCOTUS nominations

I would choose number 4 given Trump will be, for now, making the call on who would be next

and since he's clearly guilty of high treason (for sure) he should have zero authority to choose his next valet let alone make a SCOTUS pick

Elections have consequences, and because of the Russian involvement, traction for Trump has been slipping since November 9, 2016.

Make McConnell pull the nuclear option, and let's end the 60 vote nonsense in the Senate for good.

Agreed. A filibuster needs to be a real filibuster. If they want to stop Gorsuch then they can stand up there for 12 hours and read the dictionary like in the old days.

There is no reason to not confirm Gorsuch. He is a qualified jurist who Schumer and other Democrats already voted to confirm to the circuit court. The Republicans were wrong to not allow a vote on Garland, but for the Democrats to pull the same stunt would throw our judicial system in chaos for the next four years and I think it would only backfire on them.

Unless a Democratic Senator was elected by voters who want the rightwing agenda advanced,

he should vote no as a proper representation of the voters who chose him to represent them.

Yes they do.....that is why Democrats would be willing to do all they can to block Gorsuch

Then What happened to Garland?? Consequences only take place when a republican is in the WH??

Makes sense

So should Democrats just move on and assume it was a one time thing and Republicans will pay them back on some future vote?

1. How did Putin hack the election from your gal Hillary?

2. How can you stop him from flipping all 25 Democrat Senate seats in 2018?

Let the GOP kill the filibuster. It'll make things easier for the next Demcratic president and probably a less than 60 vote Dem majority after 2020.

If the Senate had any integrity they would scrap the filibuster AND mandate an up or down vote on every SCOTUS nominee within 60 days of the nomination.

I can think of at least 293 reasons

It is the slippery slope we are headed for

Right now:
No filibuster on budgetary issues
No filibuster on low level judiciary
Republicans add:
No filibuster on SCOTUS

That leaves filibuster for legislation

Why not just end it?
Senate does not function now
