Public sector unions are an anathema to good government. They are a rigged game that allows politicians to buy votes and pass the costs down the line to future generations.

Private sector unions are viable and required part of our economy for certain industries. Public sector unions are not.

In this case is was for the worker. They are now saving tons by breaking the union run health insurance. Now, the union run health insurance is forced to compete with all the other health insurance on equal ground.

Also the union is still intact, the collective bargaining is gone. As FDR, I also believe that collective bargaining for public employees is not productive and it holds the taxpayers hostage.

For a private company, collective bargaining is fine.
