(9) Jan. 22: Italy High School in Italy, Texas: A 16-year-old boy shot a 15-year-old girl in the cafeteria. He was arrested and she was airlifted to a hospital, where she was “in good spirits” as of Tuesday.

Local news here has covered this story, but the national news has glossed over the real facts. More than 3 students had already complained the school administrators about this kid and expressed concern about his violent tendencies and mental stability.

The school did JACK SHIT!!!

It is almost as if the school WANTED him to crack and kill people.

The reason it didn't go very far?

Some Texas teachers are allowed to carry on campus. Just that policy alone likely was enough to make that kid believe he had to shoot and run or he would be shot himself.

The catastrophic failure of the government to deal with a known problem is likewise a shock to the senses. What is becoming clear is the overwhelming majority of these crimes could have been mitigated if schools weren't "gun free zones" and most of the shooters were already known to authorities....and they were allowed to roam free.

Will be or could be? I don't know the future but there are a lot of ways firearms could be controlled. Legislation could be passed severely restricting the ownership of handguns and military style semi automatics. Carry of long guns in an urban setting could effectively be prohibited.

Or you could move to China or some other shithole that doesn't have a 2nd amendment.
