I need to go back to work!

In the meantime this is the type of shit I'm doing to stay upbeat, in shape and just to pass the time.

I'm not very good at the game but I gotta say it is far more of a workout than my treadmill.

I would PROBABLY be drinking beer by the case if I hadn't developed diabetes a little over a month and a half ago. I needed to stop drinking anyway, I haven't had a beer in over a month and a half now. I DO crave it a little bit, but not that much. I wasn't a heavy beer drinker before diabetes hit, so it's been easier to give up than I thought it would be. A couple positive things have happened because of my abstinence. I feel healthier and my thinking is much clearer and sharper. So there's THAT.

Good for you man!

If anything I wish I could just quit smoking.
I've led a rough life so I'm fine with the consequences of the booze but the smoking sucks.
I'm 52 and was a hardcore druggie from 14 so I'm content to have a few devil's in my desk.

At least you'll be well preserved beforehand.

Do you have a good kilt to wear in true manly fashion for the funeral?

Thanks. In my case I really had no choice. Keep drinking like I was, and probably not live a whole lot longer, or stop drinking. If I HADN'T developed diabetes, I would almost certainly still be drinking. And more than I was before diabetes hit.

Would you like a job as a fruit picker?

A plane load of Romanian fruit pickers will be landing at Stanstead UK airport.

Just think, outdoors all day long, plenty of fresh air into those lungs. Exercise. Socialising over the strawberry bushes.
