If Hillary runs she may win 45 states

Soggy, I know you are unhappy, but you understand numbers.

The majority will support Clinton unless we get immigration reform passed and make nice with women.

Jake, I know you're nuts... but it's May... 2014. She was as shoe in for POTUS in 2007... she didn't even get the nod. She lost out to a political unknown, Barry Kardashian.

This is an entirely plausible Hillary EV map, assuming the current state and national polling stands:

If she really is 8-10 points ahead of the GOP field nationally, then obviously, more than 31 or 32 states are going to fall her way.

That is not a prediction on my part - yet. But with the current polling numbers, it is plausible.
Interesting. However, I cannot see some states going democrat. For instance I lived in Arizona, and even with the immigration numbers there, GOP supporters far outnumber democrat supporters. I recall outside of Tuscon, there was very little support for democrats in Arizona. Tuscon had high immigration numbers, thus support for democrats.

Here is more how I see things going in 2016...

I wouldnt throw Wisconsin in the blue category just yet. Especially if their governor is on the ticket. People there have seen what real GOP conservative policies can accomplish: lower deficits, tax cuts, better governance. They may not be so quick to throw the lever for another socialist Democrat.
For sure Scott Walker could help the GOP in Wisconsin. He was able to pull off a win in the recall election, so he can convince voters. His weakness is his favoring amnesty for illegals (like Jeb Bush). However, the reason I hesitate in regards to Wisconsin has to do with Paul Ryan, and the fact that I don't understand WI voter patterns. If voters in WI would not vote for a Republican president when one of their own is running as VP, what gives??? If Paul Ryan were a RINO, I could understand, but he's a conservative, both socially, and fiscally. Thus I am not sure how WI would vote in 2016. Of course anything is possible, especially not knowing who will run for either side.

Even with your optimistic estimate.Republicans barely get to 270
It'll all depends on Hillary's drop in popularity (currently below 50%). If it continues the way it has lately, mainly due to Benghazi, and who knows what the committee will uncover, she will be in for a rude awakening if she runs.

The Clintons are favorably viewed by more than 6 of 10 Americans.

Bill and Chelsea as part of America's favorite family campaigning for Hillary will be very favorable.
As a family, they may be viewed favorably, however by herself, Hillary is having some real issues. Her popularity is the lowest it's been since 2008, and dropping.

A new poll shows former secretary of state Hillary Clinton's (D) numbers hitting their lowest point in six years.

Meanwhile, it finds that the Republican Party is experiencing something of a renaissance.

Impossible, unless she runs for the GOP. I cannot envision her winning Oklahoma, Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, North Dakota or Texas. No matter who the democrats run, these are safe GOP states.

Well ... we can't rule out voter fraud either. Why else are the lefties so dead set AGAINST an honest vote with an honest voter ID?

Poor logic, mimbo.

No one is saying she is going to be there in 2016, but if she is and we have not prepared she will kick GOP ass right across the continent.

Isn't this the same Hillary Clinton that was fired from the Watergate investigation? And lied about coming under sniper fire? And used that awful black accent? That Hillary Clinton?
This is also the same Hillary Clinton where the morning Joe panel couldn't come up with a single achievement she accomplished while Secretary of State. This was on MSNBC, an ultra left leaning network. Jen Psaki, a state department spokeswoman, also couldn't name an achievement attributed to Hillary Clinton.

However, this one takes the cake...really...

On April 3, 2014, Hillary Clinton spoke at the Women of the World Summit in New York City and was asked what she was most proud of during her tenure as Secretary of State. Clinton could not provide any concrete examples of the accomplishments she holds in high regard.

“When you look at your time as Secretary of State, what are you most proud of? And what do you feel was unfinished, and maybe have another crack at one day?” the moderator asks.

“Well, I really see — that was good — that’s why he wins prizes. Look, I really see my role as Secretary, in fact leadership in general in a democracy, as a relay race. When you run the best race you can run, you hand off the baton. Some of what hasn’t been finished may go on to be finished, so when President Obama asked me to be Secretary of State I agreed,” Clinton responded.

Hillary Cannot List Accomplishments

Finally, a sensible comment.

However, what is her favorability in comparison to GOP popularity?

Can you show that poll?

Every poll I see shows Hillary beating prospective Republucan challengers by a wide margin

The Fox News poll, from Democratic pollster Anderson Robbins Research and GOP pollster Shaw & Company, shows Clinton's favorable rating dropping to 49 percent, compared to 45 percent unfavorable.

The last time her numbers were in that ballpark was during the 2008 Democratic presidential primary race.

Hillary Clinton Popularity Below 50% and Dropping

Her popularity is dropping, and if the trend continues, she may decide not to run.

Brent Budowsky: Clinton can win 45 states | TheHill

While the GOP looks downward and backward in its negative politics of derision, aiming its appeal to an extremist faction, Clinton reaches outward and forward in her positive politics of opportunity, aiming her appeal to the nation at large. If she runs in 2016, she could well carry 45 states and sweep into office many Democrats running for the House, Senate and governorships.

I see a few extra sleeping pills for you RWers tonight....

This is funny! I have been away from the computer and when I finally get back to this thread, you RWers are vomiting from the mouth over a prediction about Hillary. This is sooooo funny!!!

I apologize if I have caused any of you great gastric distress. I know you are having nightmares about Hillary, and a silly yet fairy accurate, prediction like this might just cause eternal overactive colons for many of you. I have one simple word for you. It will lessen the dramatic effects of this catastrophic colon event.

Any Republican candidate. If the trend continues, her popularity will continue to drop, and I really believe if the Benghazi committee reveals damaging facts on her, she will not run.

By the way, Huckabee would beat Hillary in AK.
