Millions of Americans live in or near poverty. Many are suffering under enormous debts from overpriced HC and education. This isn’t common in other first world nations, but it is in the world’s richest nation.Trump having huge rallies is a myth, distortion, and lie. Obama had rallies of 75,000 and even one numbering 100.000. Trump rallies are small compared to some of Obama's rallies.
TRUMP has consititnly more rallie
I don’t think so. I think cons have a distorted view of public opinion. For example, a vast majority of Americans think Medicare for all is great. Even R voters poll a majority on this question, but talk radio/Fox News con are clueless.Agreed. Particularly D voters support what Bernie proposed and they do so in huge numbers. Even a majority of R voters supported much of Bernie’s platform. He would have beaten Don four years ago.News Flash, if the Democrats hadn't screwed Bernie over twice he would've been the candidate.
And he would have won in 2016.
You think because a minority of useful idiots is enamored with socialism means they would have won? Not likely.
Almost the entire country supports what you call "socialism" here. Trump has said he would support a bill bailing out the airlines.
The ironic thing is the D Party picked Biden who has made it clear he won’t support any of Bernie’s proposals. Biden is a corporatist warmongering neocon but the D leadership much prefers him over Bernie, because the party is controlled by the billionaires.
TRUMP would have run a different campaign if the nominee was Bernie. There is no way Bernie would have got support from moderate democrats. Harris/Biden can't even admit to being against fracking because they know it's a losing issue.
IMO TRUMP would have easily destroyed Bernie simply by painting him as not only a radical but a radical insider who has spent a lifetime in Washington accomplishing nothing.
Bernie is offering important services to the American people. Services provided by all other first world nations. Unlike nearly all the other politicians who are only interested in enriching the ultra rich with government services, which they depend on for campaign funds. It’s a racket some of us can see.
We live in a failed state because some Americans fear social services for the poor and working class is communism. Somehow these same Americans have no problem with socialism for the ultra rich.
The issue is not about social services for those who need it, the issue is providing ways for people to not need social services...a subject democrats ignore.
When people receive help with the understanding it comes as a willing sacrifice from others that help has more meaning and encouragement for the receiver to not only use it wisely but to also begin to make sacrifices of their own in order to change their situation.
The rich get bailed out by government, why not others?
