Thousands? Really? We have seen many people dump huge sums of money into elections and initiatives and come up short. Voters aren't stupid. You can spend millions on an election, and unless the MESSAGE resonates, you will lose.

Bloomberg is thinking about running as an independent for president. He says he is willing to spend one billion of his own money to get elected. If he gets 5% of the vote, I'd be stunned.

I believe that Trump has spent the least. And I agree, money can help get the word out, but if people don't agree with what you are sellin' they simply won't vote for you.
