This is mostly for the people who think Obama is right bit everyone is free to answer.

  • If this is legal, what part of the law would prevent a future president who opposes the law from simply delaying it forever?

until someone steps up and stops this it will just go on
No one challenges it in the courts
and the legislative branch of the gov does nothing.

Only hope is if he really steps in it and does something really stupid like martial law or some crap like that.

Its legality has to be challenged in court by someone with standing.

True but not an answer.
The answer is when the next GOP canididate becomes president he will start deciding which laws he wants to enforce and which he wont. And the Democrats will howl he is a cruel dictator and causing the downfall of the Republic. And when pointed out Obama started this nonsense they will retort that Obama was different because, well, it just was and he was right dammit.
Of course all of that assumes Obama does not decide which parts of the Constitution he wants to enforce.

Nothing stops the next president from delaying parts of the law. Carb is right. It has to be legally challenged. However, no dems or repubs are challenging what O is doing right now. When changes are made congress has to consent. To date, congress hasn't stepped in to challenge nor have they been called upon to vote on the numerous waivers, extensions, delays and other changes to the law.

No, the same standard won't be applied to a Republican (or probably even a white Democrat for that matter). He only gets away with it because he's black.

Yes, and you can break any law you wish, even murder someone and unless you are arrested by someone with standing you didn't commit a crime at all and you might get applauded by like mind sheep, as you did with this observation. As soon as someone challenges Obama in court the whining of racism will become deafening.

What everyone knows of course is no one is going to challenge. Who has standing? Well I think the liberal courts will say just those who are getting the mandates extended and they certainly are not going to file suit. So once again the middle class will foot the bill and Obama gets to do his dictator thing.

Everything that Obama has done to expand the power and reach of the President will continue and be expanded under the next President and the vast majority will have no right to say jack about it because they were perfectly willing to sit back in silence as the trend was starting.

Actually, it doesn't. Anyone with a grain of honesty will admit it is unconstitutional, but the courts are designed to protect the government from the people, which is why they invented that absurd rule that the only way something the government can be challenged is if that person can demonstrate harm.

Obamacare is here to stay regardless of how expensive, damaging or how many lose coverage. A government program never dies and they all like to control us so this thing ain't going away. Be prepared for people going bankrupt like never before and medicare patients finding no one to cover them.

Health insurance should have nothing to do with employers. That is the reason the system is screwed up to begin with. The employer mandate should be eliminated and eventually it will be.

Obama is doing his part and independent contractors, salaried employers and automation is all that will be rewarded by this POS bill.
