If The GOP Screws Trump at the Convention?

It seems that the dirty tricks of Cruz and the attack ads by the GOP have backfired. About the only way to for them to stop Trump short of assassinating him (something the GOP may do) is to screw him at the convention. If they succeed in screwing Trump what will come next?

Civil war?

Trump supporters will seek revenge on the GOP and resort to violence?

Trump supporters won't vote or maybe write in Trump?

Trump supporters will vote for Hillary seeing her as the lesser of two evils?

Some Trump supporters will vote for the un-democratically nominated Republican candidate.

I think it will be a combination of all of the above.

I personally won't resort to violence I will support Trump if he runs as an independent,if he doesn't run then I will vote 3rd party again and sit back and watch the GOP commit suicide.
