It appears the parents are part and parcel of the problem, and involved in the internet shenanigans.

On one hand, I think it's a good thing the parents are aware. On the other hand, they are lowering themselves (and their daughter) by encouraging such negative and violently inspired interactions.

They're making the problem worse by their involvement. I think they probably think they are being supportive, but in reality, they're adding to the harm being done to their daughter. They probably need parenting classes.

Not to mention teeth. When I see ppl like dad, I think "drug addict" and all the lovely dysfunction that attends addiction. Though I see he uses a cane; he may just have an illness or have suffered and inury which resulted in the loss of his teeth...

Watching the dad with the kidlet made me wanna go get the poor thing, wash her face and feed her some decent food. If I am right and it can be proven, do you think there are grounds for removing this kidlet from her home?

I'd say it's borderline, and I rarely think any kidlet is better off in foster care. I guess we should be grateful the dad didn't child porn as his ticket to easy street.

We can and do. It's one reason CPS exists, syrenn. But this set of circumstances, whatever the facts may actually be, seem to lie within the range every parent has to raise their children as they see fit.

There is nothing here that CPS would be involved in.

I could prolly speculate and dream up something, but in the end, you're right. Nor do I think CPS usually does much good.

I just feel bad for that kidlet.
