And why did you say it? I mean is it your conclusion based on some exclusive facts, or just a glimpse of your imagination?I said it
Maybe a binding vote in the occupied territories for the sake of some legitimacy. I get that the pro-Ukrainians are probably long gone, but it's the best I can think of.This queston came up when one of my relatives at the T'Giving table said that Trump's plan is to give Russia the approx 18% of Ukraine that they now occupy. No idea if that is Trump's plan or not, but this relative thought it was. I asked him what his idea was.
His suggestion seemed unworkable, but at family gatherings, I only ask questions about politics, I don't argue politics.
What is your plan?
They invaded Poland several times, latest being the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact.In her whole history (at least in last 1000 years) Russia never invaded any sovereign country without a provocation.
Why? I'm Russian myself. I'd say most of them are ethnically Russian. What may disturb me or infuriate even that some of them having gone through the 30 years of Goebbels style propaganda have become Bandera admirers.Does it disturb you that some Ukrainians think of themselves as ethnically Russian?
Based on what I see in the newsAnd why did you say it? I mean is it your conclusion based on some exclusive facts, or just a glimpse of your imagination?
And the Soviets invaded FinlandThey invaded Poland several times, latest being the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact.
If we are talking about states in their formal borders, then Russian allies - DPR and LPR had been invaded. If we are talking about people - Russian people in Ukraine have been killed by the western collaborants since 2014. If we are talking about big strategy - NATOs expansion is the plain preparation for the WWIII and genocide of Russians.Russia is not being invaded
What was the provocation of Russia in 1939 for invading Poland? In her whole history (at least in last 1000 years) Russia never invaded any sovereign country without a provocation.
Russian people in Ukraine were free to return to Russia….they didn’tIf we are talking about states in their formal borders, then Russian allies - DPR and LPR had been invaded. Really? The choice between Coca-cola and Pepsi-cola, or the choice between CNN and Fox news, is not a choice at all. Here we have a variety of opinions
Giving any land to Russia would be the same as saying it was okay for Germany to annex Poland and the world will not tolerate that kind of action.True, but it is the American people's money, equipment and lives to give.
Hopefully, lives are off the table as soon as Trump takes office. The money and leverage can be used to influence Dictator Zelensky into accepting a compromise.
Beauty part is that if he doesn't, we can wash our hands of Ukraine with no further losses to us.
Yeah, like Ford once said, "you may have a car of any color as long as it's black", right? Here we have a variety of opinions
Polish attack against Czechoslovakia (an allie of Soviet Union) back in 1938. It was said to them in advance that Polish invasion in Czechoslovakia will means cancelling the Soviet-Polish non-aggression pact, and they ignored it. And, therefore, it was cancelled. What was the provocation of Russia in 1939 for invading Poland?
Giving any Mexican land (actually 2/3 of it) to the USA was the same. Say nothing about taking Kosovo from Serbia.Giving any land to Russia would be the same as saying it was okay for Germany to annex Poland and the world will not tolerate that kind of action.
If I were a citizen of the world as you obviously see yourself maybe I should get my news from russia or chinaIt means that you are just parroting the worst propaganda possible.

Some of them did. And they took their land with them. Another were demonstratively murdered (google Odessa massacre 2014). Some others are actively work with Russia.Russian people in Ukraine were free to return to Russia….they didn’t
Yes. We don't have claims about territory. We do have claims about safety of our people.Russia has no claim to Ukraine or any other ex-Soviet country
And Soviet Union deployed ballistic missiles on Cuba due to US proxy aggression against it. And, no, NATO's expansion started after NATO's aggression against Yugoslavia.NATO has expanded due to Russias attacking neighbors
Germany, Hungary and Poland (backed with other Munich agreement gang members) invaded Czechoslovakia in 1938.that utter nonsense
