Yes.

Both the damage to the car caused by the sticker, and both your friend and the vandal would be responsible for the other damage as without the sticker the damage would not have occurred.

I'm NOT saying the vandal isn't responsible and you friend is, I'm saying the friend is responsible because his acts contributed to the cause of vandalism.
