Why? For the vast vast majority of people like 99% it would be a fine plan. For the small minority of people who are at greater risk, get the vaccine and wear an N95 mask. Heck even if you aren’t in the greater risk category get all the vaccines twice if you want, and wear 2 n95 masks.

It's happening anyway; I don't know if it's being ignored, but given that the vaccines don't seem to provide protection in ANY sense, if this terrible news from Illinois is true and generalizable, we're back to our own personal immune systems, and good luck to us all.
