The fact that you cant see how dumb your comparisons are says volumes. All presidents are judged by how they left the economy they inherited. We judge the captain of the Titanic, not by his years of honored service, or how well he handled the first 2/3rds of the voyage.
Or how O.J. Simpson was a Heisman trophy winner, great football player, yet why do we judge him over the one little incident back in June 2014.
I dont think Trump was a good President. I dont think he's a good person. I didn't think he should have run reelection in 2020 nor should he in 2024. I don't think Presidents are necessarily responsible for the state of the economy. But if you're going to do that using the state of the economy at the height of the pandemic, when it was shut down ON PURPOSE is just dumb, or in your case highly disingenuous. Unless you believe that the pandemic was Trumps fault or that he was wrong for shutting everything down. Were you in favor or opposed to the shut down? Were you in favor or opposed to the artificial tanking of the economy? Were you opposed or in favor of the ridiculous fear mongering we participated in surrounding COVID in order to get people to comply with the stupid government mandates? If you were for these things what exactly did you think was going to happen as a result? Economic prosperity? Did you think the economy was going to grow as a result? You're like a person who's intentionally shot themselves in the foot and then yells at the gun for getting blood on your carpet.
